Sparring on the beach

[Rin]

Walking on an empty beach... Seemed wrong.

That's what Devvy thought. Being from Sunagakure she was used to seeing just sand everywhere but not a land of water near, but she was down here to help train in her water element. By the way what kind of beach is empty she thought, as she started to walk on the beach, or rather, danced across the beach. She seemed unnaturally calm today as she unknowingly dance-walked, flicking her feet up after every 2nd step. It was sometime around 4 p.m., and it looked tranquil.

She shrugged to herself as she danced over the beach. She was having yet another completely klutzy moment as she sneezed and accidentally fell back on to the sand. Her left arm was gently placed on her stomach as she gazed at the deep blue sky. A lovely smell surrounded her, it smelled as if a storm was approaching but there were no clouds in the sky. Powerful chakra was on its way towards her.

She didn't care what the shinobi's purpose of coming her was she just laid there and basked in the powerful chakra scent.

[raikuni]

shuura walked down the beach calmly. his 6 tails glowed in the sun. and a pure black fox with 6 tails followed close by. shuura felt the presence of a jounin nearby, and he approached thechakra. by the smell shuura knew the main element was water. which meant he had the advantege if gotten into a fight.

he wore his black trench coat, with the mizukage emblem on its arm, and back. his long white hair soft as ever, and his eyes as black as the void. he wore leather gloves with the fingers removed, and tight black pants. on his back he had his tsurugi buster sword. each of its 6 parts in its individual holder. the foxs black fur glowed, and its eyes were white. hopping between the two, were bolts of black and white lightning. connecting their power. shuura could see the shinobi coming.

she had the appearence of a young girl. brown hair, pink top. she was learly not from kirigakure. he noticed her headband, with the sand emblem. "hmm a sand ninja. shes a bit out of place" shuura thought calmly. knowing a fight would be approaching. so he called out to her. "you there, sand scum. stand up and keep your hand at your sides" his voice mixed with half the voice of raijuu, and half of his own. but he planned to keep her in the dark about his bijuu

[Rin]

Rin sighed, as she slowly got up. Carefully she brushed the sand off her pink dress like outfit, before lifting her hands up. Lifting her nose up she let out another sniff. This chakra, its pure almost too pure. She thought as she inhaled more deeply, while closing her eyes. Finally she understood, she smelled three separate chakras.

One for the man, one from an unknown identity, and one from that animal; but it seemed the chakras were somehow connected. She couldn't place her finger on it, but she knew that she heard of something like this before. Taking in another whiff she smelled something corrupt, that ruined her sweet scent of the smell before the storm.

Now it just smelled dark, another thing she couldn't place her finger on. What was this unusual chakra thats giving off this smell. She held her breathe a bit before letting out and breathing it back in. Bleh, the scent is so strong its starting to develop a taste. The taste, was like putting a battery under your tongue and keeping it there.

"What is with your unusual chakra."

She asked boldly, as she continued to breathe it, until she was used to it. It was sort of becoming an addiction. Like powerful chakra was her crack and she was stuck.

[raikuni]

shuura stared at her sniffing the air. it was like she could smell his chakra better than he could smell hers. shuura knew this girl was unique. just by watching her you can see that she can smell it strongly, and even taste it. he was getting slightly angry. but than she spoke to him, he voice was strange. an accent unable to be placed. shuuras traveled over every country. but she had the only one of that accent. raijuu was stirring inside him, as if he knew something, but wouldnt reveil it.

"your a strange one arnt you?" shuura spoke again. surprised she said nothing about his voice. which was still half his and half raijuus. he could hear raiu, his fox, speak to him "shuur she has an insignia on her arm. its for a unique clan that died out many years ago. she is either one of them, or she found it and kept it" shuura nodded to raiu and stared back at the girl. "now tell me girl. what is your name? why have you come here? and why it looks like your smelling an unknown odor.."

he wanted to know these things. as he did the sky began getting covered by thick clouds. white and black lightning lighted shy sky. the wind was picking up like a hurricane. and waves began to form. these happening at the same time.

[Rin]

The odor from the more powerful chakra became stronger as it began to stir. With each moment it seemed to increase a bit, and it was taking over more of her senses. Now instead of just smelling and tasting it, she could now see the chakra emanating off the man and his pet.

Like she thought there were two completely different chakras coming from the man, one from himself and another from something else. What was it? As she was pondering over this the man asked her a few questions.

"Well, first off by what standards would you call strange. I mean by my standards i could call you strange because of your strange chakra. Also I am Rin Kusabana. My name originally was Rin Kagura, but it has changed to my adoption. Why I am here? Well, I could ask you the same question; what you probably mean is why am i out of my country. I am out of my country just to help practice my water element due to the lack of water in Sunagakure. Also, this unknown odor is your chakra, which is quite impressive I might add."

She let out another deep breath as the man's chakra seemed to surround her, well it was mostly the unknown creature's chakra. This unknown chakra; she wanted to know what it was, where it came from, and how could she obtain it.

[raikuni]

"my chakra is unlike any other, beside 8 other men and women of whom i do not know. but what you sence is mostly mine and my pets here. the 3erd orgin is a slight leakage. he hasnt had a chance to break through." shuura grinned. giving her slight information might tip her off to the bijuu inside of him. "i and shuura levina. mizukage of the water country. this is raiu, my faithful pet and battle comrad." shuuras skin began to break and glow, a white tattoo emerged as more lightning lit up the sky. and the clear mark on his cheek glowed brightly.

shuura ran the name kagura through his mind. he could remember reading something about them in historical scrolls. than it hit him. it was a small group of ninja with the ability to sence, conceil and minipulate chakra to do what they need to survive. they were constantly hunted down years earlier. "so your a kagura. and im guessing youve had that insignia on your arm as long as you can remember?"

[Rin]

Devvy looked down at her arm. The insignia of the Kagura. When did she get this insignia, she didn't know. It's always been with her since birth, but she didn't think that it was mandatory to have it in her clan; especially now that they're almost extinct.

"Yes, I've had it since forever i guess."

She said with wonder, never noticing this really before. A slight leakage? What could this mean? She thought as she reviewed everything mentally in her head over and over. Wait he said 8 other men and women have the same kind of chakra. So together that would make 9, the 9 jinchuriki. Looking down at his pet she understood. The animal must match the bijuu.

"So your a jinchuurikan, and your bijuu must be Raiu, the six tailed bijuu. I can tell from your pet."

[raikuni]

"hmm close.. but raiu is only a baby. the baby raijuu is seal within him. and, as you have guessed.. raijuu is within me" shuura grinned and swished his 6 tails, now able to be clearly seen by the girl. the tattoo, now glowing brightly, began to make shuura pulse with lightning. shuura just smiled, his eyes glowed and changed, now had the look of the unique levina eyes.

"its time for you to leave. actually. lets test your abilities" shuurs growled and vanished. appearing behing he he sent his fist at the back of her head, lightning ready to discharge at the moment it touches her.

raius actions:

raiu growled and jumped back. lightning struck the small fox at regular intervals. a ball of lightning forming in his mouth. it was what looked like forming a ray of lightning, to sweep the area around the girl

[Rin]

Rin was shocked by the incredible speed the man had. Well, i guess i shouldn't expect any less from a jinchuurikan. She thought as she noticed him about to hit her from the back, she used some quick hand signs to use the Body Switch technique. Her body went up in a puff of smoke, in place of her body was a random log.

Now instead of being in front of the man, who was trying to hit her she was standing ontop of the water using the walking on water technique. Looks like he's trying to test my abilities. She thought as she pulled her iron fan off her back, and swung it in front of her using her Wind Release: Great Cutting Whirlwind Technique. Huge gusts of wind mixed with chakra was sent towards the man and the pet.

[raikuni]

shuura grinned and made a quick handsign. the wind cutting technique went strait up into the air. shuura laughed at the pathetic technique. shuura began to be lifted into the air, lightning surrounded him and focused at his arms. he brought his arm back and threw it foreward again. he did this with both arms and sent two large waves of lightning at the girl. lightning still being focused into him again. but much more condeced this time around.

raiu was still being charged with lightning. the wave shot you at the water under her feet. it began to bubble, than it exploded

[Rin]

Rin sighed, as she again used her Body Switch technique; switching her body with another log. She could now feel the insanity coming off in waves from the strong shinobi. What is his deal? She thought as she did some hand signs.

"Hidden Mist Jutsu."

She whispered as mist surrounded the entire area. Lifting her nose up she could smell the exact whereabouts of the man and his pets. Four Kilometers to the east she thought as she ran into some nearby woods.

[raikuni]

shuura grinned as teh mist covered the area. calmly he made a handsign and it began to rain. and suddenly it became clear her exact where abouts. no matter how hard she hides her chakra it can be senced by the rain as it touches her, "there you are.. raiu move out. get into position" shuura thought quietly to raiu, who instictivly understood and ran off. as this happened shuura made 20 clones of both himself and raiu. obscuring her smell and rendering it useless.

now in the palm of shuuras hand, he grinned and got struck by lightning. appearing a few yards away from devvy. "now its my turn" shuura spoke to her and pulled out his sword. wisps of lightning floated off the blade. again vanishing shuura appeared behind her. waiting for her first move

[Rin]

Rin swiftly swirled her fan around herself in a circular motion using her Wind Release: Typhoon Attack. A tornado formed around her as she attempted to send the lunatic away from her. With a sigh, she quickly turned around and started to do some swift hand signs.

"Water Release: Hydro Pump!"

She said, just before an an extremely powerful jet of water was sent form her mouth in attempt can blow the man away and pin him; or even possibly knocking him out. While the water was gushing out she could feel separate chakras that matched the man, plus his pet. He's made clones!

[raikuni]

the hydropump struck shuura and lightning exploded.it traveled up the water and into rin, giving her a powerful electric shock. meanwhile a few shuuras took post nearby and one of them amde handsigns. 100 lightning, water, and wind needles were made in the air. they just floated there. as shuura stepped forward and made handsigns. lightning began to circle shuuras feet. rising up around him.

as the lightning rose shuura began to spin. forming a giant dragons head. and the faster he spun it became like a sheild. forming the next powerful attack

[Rin]

Rin held in a scream as she was shocked. Slowly as the pain started to disappear she noticed the next attack that the man was preparing. I have to get out of here, fast! She thought with terror. As fast as she could she escaped the area.

This chakra is just unnatural. She thought with fear. There was no way she would be a match with a man that had 10x the chakra and experience that she had.

[raikuni]

shuura vanished and appeared in front of her. the lightning was gone, the clouds dispersed and his sword was put away. as she ran he stopped her with one arm and gripped her shoulder loosely. slowly he leant foreward and whispered in her ear. "not bad. i look forward to next time i see you* shuuras voice was just his own. it was pure, sortof angellic. but his eyes remained black.

he looked into her eyes silently for a second and smiled to her. brushing some hair from her face he softly kissed her cheek. "see you around rin" shuura smiled and got stuck by lighnting. vanishing fromsite

[Rin]

Rin went to an abrupt stop as the man appeared right infront of her. He has incredible speed. To her complete suprise instead of the crazy voice she had been hearing, he had a soft, kind voice. Taking a whiff of the air she could tell that everything was fine now. It was like he was a different person; like the man she smelled before the random attack. The calm before the storm.

To another surprise of hers, he also said he looked forward to seeing her again, and kissed her on the cheek. Most girls would be blushing their butts off, but not Rin. Instead she stood there with a what the hell just happened look. Nothing in all of her years of experience would have prepared her for something this strange.

She let another whiff, smelling a group of shinobi close. None of them having the pure, electrifying chakra like the other man. These instead had the smell of fresh dew in the morning. I might as well leave before I get attacked again. She thought as she ran off to her village, The Village Hidden In The Leaves.
